What about getting married in a museum?
I am always keen on finding the right locations in Florence and surroundings. And this certainly is.
In the heart of Renaissance Florence under the direction of the master Filippo Brunelleschi, LTDN can organize the wedding that only few people can have. Thanks to her special liaison you can have your ceremony and reception within few minutes from the Florence Cathedral, in one of the most important but not very known to the big audience, museum of the city.
The palace was built in the 1400’s and it is one of the first examples of Florentine Renaissance, still very well preserved. The elegant entrance and its loggia is the ideal for a summer week end reception, in winter instead, it is possible to have the reception on the covered balcony surrounded by works of art by Ghirlandaio, Della Robbia, Botticelli, Filippino Lippi and others.
Beside the entrance there is a church (Florentine baroque style) where it is possible to have catholic ceremonies, instead, if you wish a non-catholic ceremony or a blessing there are several other options, such as the women loggia or the terrace (in 2010) overlooking the red roofs of Florence.
As because this is a very unique and particular space the weddings throughout the years are few; but if you are truly art lovers, if you want to be in the belly-button of Florence and if you are not afraid to dare, I am sure this could be the right location for you and for your guests.
